Lady Gaga to Release New Single ‘Disease’ on October 25
Lady Gaga announced her new upcoming single, “Disease,” which will drop this Friday, October 25. The “Bad Romance” singer gave a few teases of her latest single, included in her upcoming album, LG7, coming out in February 2025.
Before her official announcement, she hinted at some clues regarding the song’s upcoming release. One of these clues was the rearrangement of the Spotify playlist in which her songs spelled out “Gaga’s Disease.” The artist also changed the capitalization of several of her song titles, making one letter lowercase and all the other letters uppercase to rearrange them to spell “Disease.”
The “Paparazzi” singer’s lyrics for the new single can be found when you type gagadisease.com, which will give you a little sneak peek of one of her lyrics on the song. If you continue down the “rabbit hole” by typing the lyrics to her songs in the URL, you can find additional lyrics to the new song.
The tease of the artist’s new single comes after her latest album, Harlequin, inspired by her character in her recent film, Joker: Folie à Deux, placed number 1 on the Billboard jazz charts and number 20 on the Billboard 200 charts. Although the album was deemed successful, the film itself underperformed at the box office, losing nearly $200 million.
However, the singer’s duet that came out last August with male artist Bruno Mars, “Die With a Smile,” did reach number 3 on Billboard’s Hot 100, making the song its seventh week on top of the chart.
