Since reading the script, Holland has expressed his enthusiasm for the new project. In his interview, he mentioned that the project had “lit a fire” in him and shared his excitement about several key plot points. The actor also noted that this time around, he has a much larger role in the creative process, emphasizing how rewarding it has been to experience the production side of filmmaking. While Zendaya has not formally spoken about the project, Holland’s comments suggest that she is equally passionate about the upcoming film.

Between Spider-Man installments, Holland most recently starred in the titular role of Jamie Lloyd’s Romeo and Juliet at the Duke of York’s Theatre in London. Fans, however, are eagerly anticipating his return to the big screen as the iconic superhero.

Spider-Man Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home are currently streaming on Disney+, while Spider-Man: No Way Home is available on Hulu and FuboTV.
