Olivia Rodrigo Releases New Netflix GUTS World Tour Film Trailer

Olivia Rodrigo has unveiled the official trailer for her Netflix concert special, GUTS World Tour, set to premiere on October 29.

The “Good 4 U” singer’s sold-out, 95-date tour will soon be making an extra stop in our living rooms, and it’s bound to be a treat, as seen in the electrifying trailer. The “GUTS World Tour,” which kicked off in early 2024 in support of the three-time Grammy winner’s sophomore album, marked a career-high for Rodrigo. After performing in theaters during her first tour, she received critical acclaim for her arena shows, with the tour wrapping up in Australia.

The pop star used her sold-out tour to launch the “Fund 4 Good” in partnership with the National Network of Abortion Funds, aiming to “ensure those most impacted by systemic racism, misogyny, and healthcare barriers can access the reproductive care they deserve.” All proceeds from the critically acclaimed tour were directed to the fund. At one point during the tour, Rodrigo even distributed free Plan B contraceptives, though the initiative was halted following backlash. 

However, the success of the “GUTS World Tour” has earned Olivia Rodrigo the title of “Touring Artist of the Year” by Billboard. She will be honored with the award at the Billboard Live Music Summit on November 14.

The Netflix film will showcase her arena spectacle, featuring performances of her biggest hits from her chart-topping albums GUTS and SOUR. Based on the trailer, viewers can also expect behind-the-scenes footage of the singer leading up to the show, which was filmed at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
