Beyoncé will perform at Vice President Kamala Harris’ rally in her hometown on Friday, just 11 days before Election Day.

The BeyHive is buzzing with excitement as the Queen Bey heads home. Kamala Harris is set to host a Democratic campaign rally on Friday in Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston, Texas. The “Cuff It” singer joins a growing list of high-profile supporters endorsing Harris for her presidential run.

The star will reportedly appear at the rally “along with her mother, Tina Knowles, and country music legend Willie Nelson,” according to anonymous sources familiar with the event’s planning, as reported by The Washington Post.

The vice president is traveling to Texas to speak on abortion rights, a key issue in the state, which has passed some of the nation’s strictest abortion restrictions since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022. Currently, “most Republican-controlled states have implemented new abortion restrictions, including 14 that ban the procedure at all stages of pregnancy.” Former President Donald Trump holds a hardline stance, even advocating for “some sort of punishment” for women undergoing illegal abortions.

Kamala Harris has always seemed to support Beyoncé and her artistry. The vice president used the artist's 2016 song "Freedom" for her first presidential campaign video. The advertisement received over 1,000,000 views on YouTube. This was the first confirmation voters received after hearing that President Joe Biden had dropped out of the race. The Vice President also named her supporters the KHive, similar to Beyoncé's fandom which has been declared as BeyHive.

Harris has long shown her support for Beyoncé and her work. She used the artist’s 2016 song “Freedom” for her first presidential campaign video, which garnered over a million views on YouTube. This marked the first indication to voters that Joe Biden would not be running, solidifying Harris’ role as a frontrunner. Harris has even named her fan base the “KHive,” a nod to Beyoncé’s famously loyal BeyHive.

Jennifer Lawrence is one of many celebrities backing Harris for president. In an interview with People, Lawrence shared her support for Harris due to her stance on reproductive rights: “I’m voting for Kamala Harris because she’s an incredible candidate and I trust she will do all she can to protect reproductive rights.”

Taylor Swift, a 14-time Grammy Award winner, also took to Instagram to endorse Harris and her running mate Tim Walz, highlighting their long-standing advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and women’s autonomy over their bodies. Swift signed her post as “Childless Cat Lady,” a label sometimes used dismissively by Republicans like vice presidential candidate JD Vance, which women are now reclaiming with pride.
