A Harry Styles look-alike contest is set to take place this Saturday, November 9, at 1 p.m. in Soho Square, London. Fans of the Grammy-winning artist are invited to witness some of Styles’ most dedicated doppelgangers compete for cash prizes and the chance to show off their best Styles-inspired looks.

Journalist Katrina Mirpuri announced the contest on Instagram on Wednesday, building excitement for the event. The competition will award prizes for both the best and most creative (or worst) Harry Styles look-alikes, with fans gathering to cheer on the participants. Known for his flamboyant and edgy fashion, he has set high standards for the contestants, who are expected to deliver nothing short of show-stopping style. Though rumors suggest the singer himself might make a surprise appearance, there’s been no official confirmation of his attendance.

Celebrity look-alike contests have been trending on social media, with fans worldwide organizing similar events in the hopes that the stars themselves might show up. For example, a Jeremy Allen White look-alike contest is scheduled for November 17 at Washington Square Park in New York City. Just weeks ago, fans in the same location hosted a Timothée Chalamet look-alike event that drew a massive crowd and even Chalamet made an appearance. However, due to the lack of a city permit, New York police had to intervene, resulting in one arrest and a $500 fine for the organizers.

On November 7, Paul Mescal fans in Dublin, Ireland, held their own look-alike contest in Smithfield Square, organized via TikTok by the account @paulmescallookalike. The video announcement gathered over 300,000 views, and Mescal surprised fans by attending the event himself.

Fans are buzzing on social media about the upcoming Harry Styles contest in London. Some Instagram comments joked, “Trying to copy NYC in hopes that Harry, like Timmy C, will show up lolol,” while another added, “Haha stop (I’ll be there). This is gonna be chaos, I can’t wait!”
