Her nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Solo Performance round out her honors, a remarkable achievement for an artist who, despite her early Disney Channel fame, has only recently gaining GRAMMY recognition. In her caption, Carpenter expressed her gratitude, stating, “This is the first year I’ve watched the live stream where I heard my name! I’d be lying if I said I hadn’t dreamt about this day my whole life, so I am filled with gratitude.”

The “Espresso” singer’s success is further highlighted by her partnership with Irish actor Barry Keoghan, who starred in the music video for “Please Please Please.” The actor expressed admiration for Carpenter’s dedication and work ethic. Reflecting on her nominations, he revealed, “Watching her work and how committed she is, and the standards that she sets… Especially on that music video, she knows the vision, she knows what she wants.”
