Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter is spreading holiday cheer early this year with the release of the trailer for her Netflix special, A Nonsense Christmas.

The “Espresso” performer gave fans an early glimpse of the project at the final U.S. show of her “Short n’ Sweet Tour” in Los Angeles.

The trailer debuted at the concert and was later released online, promising a dazzling blend of music, comedy, and special performances. “Christmas is coming early this year,” Carpenter teases in the opening moments of the clip. “I wouldn’t count on a silent night.”

Fans of the Emails I Can’t Send artist have plenty to look forward to, with the trailer revealing a star-studded lineup of collaborators. The singer is set to perform duets with Shania Twain, Tyla, and Kali Uchis. Adding to the excitement, the special will feature cameos from a diverse cast of stars, including, “Nico Hiraga, Quinta Brunson, Cara Delevingne, Sean Astin, Kyle Mooney, Megan Stalter, Jillian Bell and Owen Thiele.”

The special also teases live performances from the musician’s holiday EP, Fruitcake. The album features new festive songs from the artist, like “Buy Me Presents” and “Cindy Lou Who.” However, it also includes a Christmas version of her hit track, “Nonsense.”

The holiday version comedically twists the song’s original lyrics, with notable lines like “Lookin’ at you got me thinkin’ Christmas” and “You be Santa Clause and I’ll be Mrs.” “A Nonsense Christmas” is the featured song for Carpenter’s Netflix trailer.

Nevertheless, the special is poised to deliver everything from hilarious moments to heartfelt holiday cheer. Fans, still buzzing from the singer’s high-energy tour, are thrilled to see her take on a festive project that blends her love of music and comedy.

Set to premiere on Netflix on December 6, A Nonsense Christmas is already shaping up to be a must-watch for the holiday season. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a new listener, the artist’s Christmas surprise is bound to deliver.
