Megan Thee Stallion and TWICE Drop New Teaser for ‘Strategy’ Music Video
In an exciting collaboration, Megan Thee Stallion and K-pop powerhouse TWICE have unveiled a teaser for their upcoming single and mini-album, Strategy. The music video is set to premiere on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 2 p.m. KST/Midnight ET.
The teaser, released on December 1, via JYP Entertainment’s YouTube channel, features dynamic shots of each TWICE member alongside a glimpse of Megan Thee Stallion. The rapper stuns in a plaid skirt, white shirt, and a bedazzled megaphone. Meanwhile, the group delivers captivating choreography in matching pink outfits. In a follow-up teaser released on December 2 the group showcases another synchronized dance routine, this time at a shooting range in coordinated black and white ensembles.
The music video launch coincides with the release of the group’s highly anticipated mini-album, Strategy. The album features seven tracks, with “Strategy (ft. Megan Thee Stallion)” as the lead single. Other songs on the album include “Kiss My Troubles Away,” “Like It Like It,” “Sweetest Obsession,” “Keeper,” “Magical,” and “Strategy (TWICE ver.).”
Back in November, the group dropped a 15-second teaser of the single, building anticipation among fans for another iconic project. They also surprised attendees at a fan meet by performing “Sweetest Obsession,” one of the tracks from the upcoming album. Strategy marks TWICE’s second mini-album release following With You-th, which debuted in February.
Since With You-th, TWICE has been busy with solo ventures. Members Nayeon and the Japanese subunit MISAMO released new music, while Tzuyu made waves with her solo EP, abouTZU.
This collaboration isn’t the first time the nine-member girl group has teamed up with Megan Thee Stallion. Last month, the K-pop group was featured on the rapper’s remix of “Mamushi,” part of her deluxe album MEGAN: Act II.
With its bold visuals and compelling choreography, the Strategy teaser has set high expectations for the single and mini-album. Fans won’t have to wait much longer, Strategy will be available on all major streaming platforms starting December 6.
