Grammy-winning artists SZA and Kendrick Lamar have announced their plans for a joint North American stadium tour in 2025.

The announcement, following the release of Lamar’s newest album GNX, promises an unforgettable experience for fans of the two powerhouses of modern R&B and hip-hop.

The two took to social media to share the 2025 tour with their fans. Their Instagram post features the SOS and “DNA” performers posing in a black-and-white setting. The caption reads nothing except “grand national tour.”

Both artists are celebrated alumni of the influential Top DAWG Entertainment (TDE) label. Their creative energy has remained intact, as evidenced by their electrifying chemistry on tracks like the 2017 hit “All the Stars” from the Black Panther soundtrack. They’ve also collaborated on SZA’s debut album, CTRL, where both singers appeared on “Doves in the Wind.”

Their joint tour will start in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in mid-April and will run for two months ending in Washington, DC, in mid-June 2025. Tickets for the tour will go on sale starting December 4 at 10 A.M. local time, with presales available to fans with a Cash App Visa Card. The general sale starts December 6 at 10 A.M. local time.

As the countdown begins, fans and critics buzz with excitement over what promises to be a historic event. For the two performers, this tour is a chance to showcase their artistry in its fullest form, bridging their genres together and connecting people for one memorable night.

Their upcoming tour represents a homecoming, with the two artists uniting their distinct sounds to celebrate artistry, community, and shared roots. In a vulnerable and emotional interview with the “Saturn” singer, the “Not Like Us” artist shared, “I feel my work in music is just the start. I don’t think it’s my end goal. I know it’s not my end goal. Music is just a vessel to get me there.”

With their combined star power, the “Grand National Tour” is set to be a cultural phenomenon.
