On December 5, Flow Festival revealed the first batch of performers for its 2025 edition. The line-up includes a stellar mix of international and local artists such as Charli xcx, Fontaines D.C., Bicep, Khruangbin, Beth Gibbons, Kneecap, Joy Orbison, Sexmane, Avalon Emerson, Veronica Maggio, the electronic duo Autechre, and many more.

Flow Festival began in 2004 as a small club event and has since evolved into one of the most celebrated music festivals in the world. For 20 years, it has drawn music lovers to Helsinki, Finland, with its unique fusion of music and art. Flow’s vision is to continue growing as an international leader in the music festival scene.

The 2025 edition of Flow Festival will take place from August 8–10 at Suvilahti, a historic power plant located in the heart of Helsinki. The diverse line-up features both Finnish and international acts, including British pop sensation Charli xcx, who will headline the festival.

Since releasing her hit album Brat earlier this year, the British singer has been making waves, topping charts, selling out shows, and dominating social media with the viral “Brat Summer” trend. In addition to Flow Festival, she is set to headline other major festivals next summer, including London’s Lido Festival, Primavera Sound, We Love Green, and Parklife.

Irish punk band Fontaines D.C. also joins the line-up, fresh off the success of their critically acclaimed album Romance. The album has received praise from fans and critics alike, including Grammy-winning legend Elton John, who called them “the best band out there at the moment.”

Another highlight of the 2025 line-up is American musical group Khruangbin, known for their genre-blending sound. Their upcoming performance follows the release of their fourth studio album, A La Sala, which NME described as having “a stripped-back but still potent sound.”

In addition to bands, several iconic solo performers are confirmed for the festival. Portishead’s Beth Gibbons will take the stage, as will Finnish singer Pehmoaino, Swedish pop artist Veronica Maggio, and American singer-songwriter Montell Fish, among others.

The 2024 Flow Festival delivered unforgettable performances from artists like Pulp, PJ Harvey, The Smile, Fred Again, Jessie Ware, Denzel Curry, Overmono, and Body & Soul. Fans can expect the 2025 edition to be equally electrifying, with more line-up announcements coming soon.
