Tatcha, a luxury skincare brand usually sold online and in-store at Sephora, has announced its new expansion plans into Ulta Beauty stores starting next year.

Just in time for 2025, Ulta Beauty stores will be ringing in a new brand launch. After partnering with more high-end and luxury brands such as Fenty Beauty, Chanel, and r.e.m. beauty, another brand has officially been added to the list: Tatcha Beauty. Inspired by timeless ancient Japanese beauty rituals, the brand has formulated various cult-favorite products to provide the perfect amount of moisture and hydration to the skin.

Alongside Sephora, Ulta Beauty will carry the same fan-favorite products, such as the Dewy Skin Cream. Arriving in different sizes tailored to your beauty and skincare routine, the cream instantly plumps with three times the hydration and a dewy glow. The rich, decadent cream visibly reduces fine lines, improves barrier function to seal in moisture, and provides antioxidant protection for premature aging.

In addition to fan favorites being sold in-store, this is a landmark opportunity for Tatcha Beauty. Once their products are available in Ulta stores, the brand hits another step in expanding its presence in the United States. Tapping a retailer like Ulta Beauty will recruit a larger audience, especially those in favor of their rewards point-based system.

The brand, founded by Vicky Tsai in 2009, was later acquired by Unilever Prestige in 2019. “We have a very loyal fan base for Tatcha, and we want to get a broader reach,” Mary Yee, the brand’s CEO, stated.

“This expansion is built on the desire for the brand to reach people with its purpose- that benefit of slowing down, proving how rituals are more powerful than a routine. And for Ulta specifically, Tatcha has been a top requested brand.” Yee added.
