Beyoncé has achieved a monumental milestone, becoming the highest-certified artist of all time in RIAA history, with an astonishing 103 certifications spanning her entire discography.
This latest achievement adds to Beyoncé’s growing list of accolades, including her recent recognition as Billboard’s Greatest Pop Star of the 21st Century. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) celebrated her record-breaking success with a congratulatory statement.
“We are so excited to recognize the incredible talent, hard work and creative spirit reflected across diverse genres, Beyoncé’s iconic catalogue has earned the achievement of most certified titles for a female artist in RIAA’s history. Congratulations on this crowning milestone, Beyoncé, Parkwood Entertainment, Columbia Records — and we see you, BeyHive, streaming on repeat,” RIAA President Michele Ballantyne stated.
This recognition follows newly updated sales certifications for the singer’s groundbreaking body of work.
Notably, her chart-topping country debut, “Texas Hold ‘Em,” from the critically acclaimed Cowboy Carter album, has been certified 2x Platinum with over 2 million copies sold in the United States. The track also holds the distinction of being the first-ever No. 1 country song by a Black woman.
The icon’s catalog continues to deliver historic milestones as the icon earns her first two diamond certifications. The viral anthem “Single Ladies,” which spent four weeks at No. 1 and ignited a global dance craze, has now been certified diamond with 11 million copies sold. Meanwhile, “Halo,” a career-defining ballad celebrated for its emotional depth, has also achieved diamond status, matching the impressive 11 million copies sold.
Her album I Am… Sasha Fierce, which features both “Single Ladies” and “Halo,” has been certified 7x Platinum in the United States, solidifying its place as the highest-certified album in Beyoncé’s discography.
