Noah Centineo is set to reprise his iconic role as Peter Kavinsky in the upcoming season of XO, Kitty, the spinoff series for the To All the Boys Trilogy. Since the trailer’s release, fans have anticipated the new season, premiering January 16.

Fans mention the trailer tugs on all the heartstrings and Kavinsky’s return brings a sense of nostalgia to Kitty’s journey and the series as a whole.

“Working with Anna again was amazing,” Centineo told Tudum about reprising his role. “She’s so wonderfully talented and her work ethic shows in every scene. Stepping back into the To All The Boys universe was a true joy and I hope our incredible audience enjoys seeing Peter again as much as I did.”

The series follows Katherine Song Covey, a.k.a. Kitty, the youngest Song Covey sister (Anna Cathcart), after she earns the same scholarship to the school her late mother once attended.

In the first season, Covey reunites with her long-distance boyfriend Dae (Minyeong Choi), and makes some friends and foes. Notably, significant cast members who will appear in the second season include Gia Kim (Yuri), Sang Heon Lee (Min-Ho), Anthony Keyvan (Q), and Peter Thurnwald (Alex Finnerty). New actors joining the cast include Audrey Huynh, Sasha Bhasin, and Joshua Lee.

The last time we saw Kitty, K.I.S.S. (the Korean Independent School of Seoul) expelled her, and she returned to the U.S. However, she had an unexpected co-passenger, Min Ho.

Before this plane ride, a lot had unfolded. Dae and Kitty broke up, Yuri reunited with her girlfriend Juliana, and, to add to the tension, Min Ho confessed his feelings for Kitty on the plane. Now, fans cannot wait to see how this plays out in the upcoming season as Kitty is back in Seoul for a new semester at K.I.S.S.

Season two of XO, Kitty will debut on Thursday, January 16 on Netflix.
