Addison Rae rose to TikTok fame back in July of 2019 for her trending dance videos and has since maintained a following of over 88 million. Now, she has captured the attention of Rolling Stone with her upcoming debut album, Mood Boards.

Shortly after gaining a following on the TikTok app, the star moved from Louisiana to Los Angeles in order to pursue her social media career full-time. She found great success on the west coast by joining The Hype House, a group of influencers who shared a home and collaborated on content. While the exact timeline is unclear, she exited the house sometime before releasing her debut single “Obsessed” in March 2021.
Since then, the singer has continued to release singles and EPs, most of which have been quite popular. Her summer 2024 hit song “Diet Pepsi” was the first glimpse into her debut album, which is set to arrive sometime this year. Singing, acting, and dancing are her true passions, and according to the interview, she knew one chance was all she needed to prove herself.
