What’s Next For The Empyrean Series?

Unlike George R.R. Martin and the Winds of Winter, Yarros confirmed at a meet-and-greet that the entire plot for her planned five-book series is already mapped out. The release of Onyx Storm means that we are right in the thick of it. With everything and everyone she cares about at stake, Violet will do whatever it takes to find out the truth.

But the book series isn’t the only dragon fanfare Fourth Wing fans can look forward to. Shortly before the release of Iron Flame in 2023, it was announced a television series was in the early stages of development. Amazon MGM Studios Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society production company will produce the series.

Writer/executive producer Moira Walley-Beckett (Breaking Bad, Anne with an E) has already been tapped as the series showrunner. If you haven’t seen Anne with an E, I recommend you fix that too. As far as the romance in romantasy is concerned, we’re in good hands with her.
