Charli xcx Receives the Most 2025 Brit Awards Nominations
Charli xcx receives the most nominations for any artist in the 2025 Brit Awards. She is nominated for five categories: Artist of the Year, Mastercard Album of the Year for Brat, Song of the Year for “Guess,” ft. Billie Eilish, Pop Act, and Dance Act.
She released her album Brat in May 2024. Since then, it has reached over 1 billion streams on Spotify and was ranked number 3 on the Billboard 200, making it her highest charting record to date. Her song “Guess,” ft. Billie Eilish reached number 1 on the U.S. Spotify chart and number 3 on the Global Spotify chart.
Following right behind the Essex-born pop star for the most nominations in this year’s Brit Awards is a tie between Dua Lipa, jazz group Ezra Collective, and rock band The Last Dinner Party with four nominations each.
Dua Lipa is a seven-time Brit winner, taking home the Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Pop Act in 2024. The Last Dinner Party won last year’s Rising Star Award, and Ezra Collective is making its debut at the Brit Awards, never having been nominated before.

Other first-time nominees include art-rock band English Teacher and indie-pop artist Rachel Chinouriri.
The Beatles, with their final song “Now and Then,” received their first Brit nomination in almost 50 years, having last been nominated at the inaugural awards in 1977.
Showing us that Brat summer is not over yet, Charli is receiving nomination after nomination this award season. The 2025 Grammy Nomination List, released in November 2024, recognizes the artist for eight awards. This puts her in second place, right behind Beyoncé, for the most nominations of any artist in 2025.
The 2025 Brit Awards are scheduled for March 1 at The O2 Arena in London and will be broadcast live on ITV1 and ITVX. Five categories are based on a public vote.
