Two-time Women’s World Cup winner Kelley O’Hara is taking her talents off the field and into the world of media, launching a new sports series that celebrates women’s sports.

The series, titled Sports Are Fun!, will feature O’Hara alongside a rotating cast of co-hosts and guests. The series aims to explore various topics in the world of women’s sports, sharing stories that range from game highlights to personal victories.

New Chapter: Sports Are Fun!

Sports Are Fun! is set to premiere in February and will run throughout 2025. This marks a significant new chapter for O’Hara, who retired in 2024 after an illustrious 15-year career. Her accolades include two World Cup titles, an Olympic gold medal, and two NWSL (National Women’s Soccer League) championships. Beyond her achievements on the field, she was also a key advocate for equal pay for the U.S. women’s national team.

Reflecting on the upcoming series, O’Hara shared, “This is a show that’s going to remind fans why they fell in love with sports. That means tapping into all the stories, big or small, that get the group chat going. It’s going to feel like you’re there in the studio with us, talking about sports the way fans talk about sports.”

To bring extra flair to the series, the soccer player has teamed up with Just Women’s Sports (JWS) and TurboTax. JWS previously collaborated with O’Hara on the Just Women’s Podcast and the Kelly on the Street series. Haley Rosen, the founder and CEO of JWS, emphasized the importance of expanding women’s sports coverage, stating, “The next step in the evolution of women’s sports is building out a media ecosystem that can keep fans connected around the clock.”

With her infectious personality and extensive knowledge of the game, Sports Are Fun! promises to offer fresh, innovative coverage that highlights the stories and people behind women’s sports.
