The Jonas Brothers are returning to their Disney roots, producing and starring in a brand-new Christmas film set to premiere on Disney+ this holiday season.

The Jonas Brothers are channeling their Disney roots for a new project. Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas will be working on a Christmas film with 20th Television.

Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas are teaming up with 20th Television for the festive project, which follows the brothers as they face a series of obstacles while trying to get home to New York from London in time to spend Christmas with their families.

Temporarily titled Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie, the film is being produced by the Jonas Brothers alongside Adam Fishbach, Spencer Berman, and Scott Morgan. Oscar-winning director Jessica Yu is set to direct, while original music will be composed by Justin Tranter.

The news was first announced on Good Morning America, with Disney+ with the Jonas Brothers also sharing the update across their social media platforms.

In a playful announcement video, the brothers recreated the iconic cue card scene from Love Actually to tease their upcoming film.

The trio first signed with Hollywood Records, Disney’s music label, in 2007. Their television debut came with a guest appearance on Hannah Montana alongside Miley Cyrus, which quickly catapulted them into Disney Channel stardom. They continued their Disney career with the 2008 miniseries Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at life on their Look Me in the Eyes tour. That same year, they starred in the hit Disney Channel Original film Camp Rock alongside Demi Lovato and reprised their roles in Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam in 2010.

The brothers even had their own Disney Channel sitcom, Jonas, where they portrayed fictionalized versions of themselves, though their last name in the series was changed to “Lucas.” The series ran for two seasons.

After disbanding in 2013, the brothers reunited in 2019, making a triumphant return with their hit single “Sucker.”

The Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie will be available to stream on Disney+ this holiday season. Until then, fans can check out their official announcement video below.
