Justin Baldoni Shares New Website Amid Blake Lively Legal Battle
In a significant escalation of his legal battle with Blake Lively, actor and director Justin Baldoni has launched a new website to present his side of the story. The site features the amended complaint filed by Baldoni and his studio against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, as well as a detailed timeline of events related to the case.
The website includes various materials, such as email and text exchanges between Baldoni and Lively, along with communications involving Baldoni’s Wayfarer Studios and other cast members. Additionally, it showcases raw, unedited footage from the set of It Ends With Us, the film at the center of the controversy.
Baldoni’s legal team asserts that the website will chronologically present the facts, starting from when he acquired the rights to the film. Attorney Bryan Freedman emphasized their commitment to transparency, stating to TMZ, “We will not be selective, we will not cherry pick and we will not doctor text messages.”
This development follows Baldoni’s recent filing of an amended lawsuit against Lively and Reynolds, alleging that metadata from a New York Times article indicates a coordinated effort to defame him months before Lively’s lawsuit was filed. Baldoni is suing the New York Times for $250 million, separate from his $400 million suit against Lively and Reynolds, alleging the outlet cherry-picked and doctored text messages in its article and colluded with Lively to support her attack on his character.
By launching this website, Baldoni aims to provide the public with comprehensive access to the case’s details, allowing individuals to form their own informed opinions. His team maintains that the initiative is solely for transparency, with no financial gain involved.
In response, Lively and Reynolds have announced plans to seek dismissal of Baldoni’s defamation lawsuit. A hearing is scheduled for February 3, where the conduct of Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, will be a central issue after accusations he’s making prejudicial comments. The legal battle is set to go to trial on March 9, 2026.
