Marcus Jordan Faces New DUI and Drug Charges: What We Know
Marcus Jordan, son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, was arrested early Tuesday morning in Florida on charges including DUI with property damage or personal injury, cocaine possession, and resisting arrest, according to police reports.
On the morning of Tuesday, February 4, 34-year-old Marcus Jordan was reportedly found by two police officers sitting in his car with the headlights on, parked on train tracks near Maitland, FL.
As officers approached Jordan’s Lamborghini SUV — after confirming with dispatch that a train was about 10 minutes away —they noticed the vehicle was damaged and appeared to show signs that the reality star had been trying to move it off the tracks, according to police records.

“The tires were halfway buried in the dirt/rocks on the tracks from being spun repeatedly,” the report stated.
According to the documents, Jordan told officers at the scene that he had “made a wrong turn” onto the tracks and needed assistance to get his car off.
“I’m Marcus Jordan, I’m Michael Jordan’s son. I’m not doing anything wrong,” Marcus told the officer. “I’m just trying to get home and I made a wrong turn and clearly we would just like to get our f—ing car off the f—ing train tracks.”
After officers requested that Jordan and his passenger exit the vehicle due to an approaching train, Marcus began walking down the tracks. He appeared to stumble and then asked authorities if they could help him move the car out of danger.
“My concern is us,” the officer told Jordan to which he responded, “The concern is the $300,000 vehicle. I would like to just push this s— out of the way.”
An officer suggested calling a tow truck to remove the vehicle, but Jordan insisted on trying to push the car himself, declining the offer.
Officials stated the officers discovered a “plastic baggie containing a white powdery substance” in the “right pocket of his pants,” which later tested positive for cocaine during field tests.
Police later transported the defendant to the Orange County DUI Center, and during the drive, an officer noted, the patrol vehicle began to strongly smell like alcohol, a scent that was not present before the defendant entered the vehicle.
He was released on bail by midday and did not make any statements to reporters outside the jail before being driven away.
