A Look Into Benson Boone’s Jaw Dropping New Grammy Performance
Grammy-nominated artist Benson Boone delivered an electrifying performance during this year’s awards ceremony in Los Angeles on February 2.
Boone took the stage to perform his hit single “Beautiful Things” during the best new artist nominee showcase. The other nominees for the award were:
- Chappell Roan

Before hitting the stage, Boone enlisted the help of Heidi Klum and Nikki Glaser, who dramatically ripped off his formal attire to reveal a tight blue jumpsuit.
The singer instantly grabbed the crowd’s attention, showcasing his athleticism by executing multiple backflips. However, in the middle of his performance, he encountered an unexpected wardrobe malfunction and had to quickly adjust the crotch area of his jumpsuit. The moment sparked a wide-eyed reaction from the audience, particularly from SZA, whose horrified expression quickly went viral.
Following the show, Boone took to Instagram to formally acknowledge the moment, posting a story that read, “Sorry for adjusting my jumpsuit so aggressively on stage tonight that thing was aggressively restricting certain areas.”
Fans found humor in Boone’s apology, responding with lighthearted comments. One fan joked, “I wasn’t aware of your game, my apologies.” Another added, “Benson Boone keeping it real! His hilarious apology for adjusting his crotch on stage at the Grammys is giving us life, ‘extremely restricting in certain areas’ is the understatement of the year! Guess that outfit was a little too fitted.”
The singer later posted another photo from his performance, captioning it, “jumpsuit was a little tight but we movin.”
Before the show during an interview with Access Hollywood Boone claimed the Grammys felt like a “fever dream”.
Before the show, Boone described his Grammy experience as a “fever dream” during an interview with Access Hollywood.
“It is so psycho,” Boone stated. “I went to do rehearsals and just looking at the little name tags of who is watching it’s the ultimate honor to be here tonight.”
Despite his high-energy performance, Boone ultimately missed out on the Best New Artist award, which went to Chappell Roan for her dominant year. However, his unforgettable stage presence ensured that his name remains one to watch in the music industry.
