The music video unfolds in a tense corporate setting, sharply contrasting with the song’s high-energy vibe. It opens with a fax machine cycling through pictures of each group member before shifting to scenes of the group performing in office spaces, sterile hallways, warehouses, and even what appears to be a lecture hall.
Similarly, the group’s clothing juxtaposes with the track’s upbeat rhythm and lyrics. For the first verse, each member wears business casual attire, creating a clean and polished look. Their outfits consist of various combinations of shift dresses, blue or white collared blouses—some paired with ties, others without—along with knee-high skirts and socks.

It’s not until the second verse that the group’s outfits take on a bolder look. While they maintain the same muted color palette of black, white, and gray, they incorporate accessories like scarves, gloves, earrings, statement necklaces, and studded belts to add a more creative and personalized touch. Their clothing also features a mix of patterns and textures, unlike the plain, solid-colored clothing seen in the first verse.
Unlike the video’s setting and the group’s clothing, the choreography is a direct reflection of the song’s energetic and cheerful sound. Each movement is sharp, intricate, and flawlessly synchronized, with seamless transitions and formations that showcase each member’s strengths. The choreography exudes confidence and assertiveness, perfectly aligning with the song’s title, “ATTITUDE.”

The track features an infectious melody and a catchy pop sound, while its lyrics—”Dress up to impress, but I’m impressing everyone” and “I’m that, I’m that girl / I’m that, ooh, I’m that attitude”—promote self-confidence. The song also includes a sample from Suzanne Vega’s 1987 hit “Tom”s Diner.”
The group’s new EP, Ive Empathy, was released on the same day as the “ATTITUDE” music video. During a press conference held in Seoul prior to the EP’s release, group member Jang Won-young discussed the theme of the mini-album, “IVE has always been filled with self-love energy, and we’ve turned that even wider to sing about empathy — the different stories that arise from different perspectives.”
The music video for “ATTITUDE” not only showcases the group’s bold, dynamic style but also highlights their commitment to embracing confidence and individuality. This theme resonates deeply with the core message of their new EP, Ive Empathy. With the track, its video, and the rest of the EP, IVE continues to empower their audience, proving that confidence and empathy go hand in hand.
