Billboard Announces 2025 Women in Music Event New Honorees
Billboard announced that its 2025 Women in Music event will take place Saturday, March 29, at YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California. The concert will honor aespa, Ángela Aguilar, Erykah Badu, GloRilla, Gracie Abrams, JENNIE, Megan Moroney, Meghan Trainor, Muni Long, and Tyla.
This year, women have dominated the music industry. Out of the nine televised Grammy categories, women won in six, with three of them being women of color. Beyoncé, alone, set the record for the most Grammy nominations ever at 99 and became the first Black woman to win the Best Country Album award.
At a time when female musicians are being recognized for their work, Billboard Music hosts an event that celebrates and honors their achievements. Laverne Cox will host the event, accompanied by the talented honorees.

- Erykah Badu: Icon Award
- GloRilla: Powerhouse Award
- Gracie Abrams: Songwriter of the Year
- JENNIE: Global Force Award
- Megan Moroney: Rulebreaker Award
- Meghan Trainor: Hitmaker Award
- Muni Long: Rising Star Award Presented by Honda Stage
- Tyla: Impact Award
Billboard will announce presenters, performers, and the 2025 Billboard Woman of the Year in the coming weeks.
