MORE VISION

Released on February 12 alongside the Alivio EP, the music video follows a carefree Chung Ha as she drifts from place to place, encouraging overwhelmed individuals to embrace self-love and let go of their worries. She reassures them with lyrics like, “Take it easy, no stress / Just dance / Honey, love yourself best.”

The video transitions through a variety of settings, including a yoga class in an ornate room adorned with a chandelier and a grand landscape painting, a gym locker room, a lecture hall, and a nearly empty space featuring a merry-go-round at its center.

One of the video’s most mesmerizing elements is Chung Ha’s fashion, which evolves with each setting to showcase a diverse range of styles. She opens in a short, patterned dress with matching stockings, her hair styled in two pigtails adorned with a white ribbon woven throughout, exuding a playful charm.

In the gym scenes, she channels a modern, muted take on Jane Fonda’s iconic ’80s athletic wear. For the classroom sequences, she embraces a scholarly aesthetic with a high, sleek bun, thin-framed glasses, and a teacher-inspired outfit.

Other scenes feature her in a white cardigan layered over a black dress with a flared skirt, paired with knee-high black boots. In the merry-go-round room, where everyone seems to have embraced Chung Ha’s carefree attitude, she stuns in a fitted black dress, cinched at the waist with a Dior belt featuring a silver buckle.

Chung Ha’s most striking look appears during the track’s bridge—a deep red mahogany dress, complemented by matching nails, lipstick and gold accessories.

The video concludes on a relaxed note, with Chung Ha dressed in a casual white tank top, an unbuttoned white shirt, and loose-fitting blue jeans.

Driven by an energetic beat, the track blends dance-pop and house influences, creating an infectious and empowering anthem. Its spoken-word bridge subtly echoes Madonna’s “Vogue,” adding a nostalgic yet fresh touch.

The choreography is sharp and intentional, featuring intricate hand gestures also reminiscent of “Vogue,” emotive facial expressions, and seamless transitions that preserve elegance even amidst the fast-paced routine.

The music video for “STRESS” effortlessly blends infectious beats, dynamic choreography, and striking visuals. Chung Ha’s evolving fashion, intentional movements, and confident presence reinforce the song’s message of self-love in the face of pressure.

As Alivio marks the beginning of her solo journey, “STRESS” serves as a bold reminder of why Chung Ha remains one of K-pop’s most captivating performers.
