Jack Harlow Releases New Single ‘Set You Free’
Grammy-nominated artist Jack Harlow released his new single “Set You Free” on February 12.
Harlow released a music video produced by Babe Truth, Jenius Level, and Don Alfonso to accompany the track. The two-minute and 14-second video begins with him rapping inside the back of a car and then transitions to him singing outside with a group of people dancing to his flow. Additionally, the video focuses on Harlow exploring New York with friends who coach him through a rough breakup.

The song marks Harlow’s third single since he returned with “Miss Johnson” in November with this being his second song of the year after releasing “Tranquility” in January. The song has already amassed over 37,000 views and nine thousand likes on YouTube as both continue to pour in, while “Tranquility” sits at 2.5 million views and 109 thousand likes on YouTube.
Reviews and comments on social media have already begun, with one fan giving the song a 6.6/10 rating and a neutral review.
“I think ‘Tranquility’ Was better,” the fan explained. “Not to say this isn’t a good sound for Jack Harlow, but I didn’t enjoy the song as much as the last few singles. I think he will drop an album soon, which I am definitely looking forward to.”

Harlow’s single may have given fans an indication that a new album is on the way after he released Jackman in 2023. JackMan quickly rose to the top of the Billboard Top 100 Rap Album chart and was nominated for Hip Hop Album of the Year at the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards.
