Lisa Brings New Story to Life With Alter-Ego: The Official Comic
Global superstar Lisa is expanding her artistic horizons with the upcoming release of her story, Alter-Ego: The Official Comic.
Known for her fierce stage presence and undeniable talent, the BLACKPINK rapper and performer is now entering the world of storytelling. Through this comic, she will offer fans a unique and immersive experience.

The comic book is inspired by the concept of Lisa’s upcoming solo debut album, Alter Ego. The “Born Again” singer portrays five characters on the album, each with their own name and personality traits.
- Roxi – inspired by the track “Rockstar,” she lives to entertain and command the stage.
- Sunni – inspired by the track “Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me),” she is described as a free-spirited French speaker who loves sun-kissed days and sea-breezy nights.
- Kiki – inspired by the track “New Woman,” she is an internet lover with a Y2K aesthetic who lives for the thrill.
- Speedi – inspired by the track “Lifestyle,” she is a quick thinker and action taker living a fast-paced lifestyle.
- Vixi – inspired by the track “F*ck Up the World,” she is a tough, mysterious woman living in her villain era.
Each character represents a different facet of Lisa’s artistic expression, allowing her to explore diverse musical styles in a single album.
In the comic, readers are transported to a neon-drenched cyberpunk city where Vixi becomes the glue that binds four friends together.
When Vixi becomes trapped in a virtual reality nightmare by ruthless bullies, her friends leap into action to save her, “proving that while Vixi may work alone, she never has to fight alone.”
This limited edition, 56-page comic comes to life through artistry of illustrator, comic artist, and animator Minomiyabi, with dialogue by Brandon Montclare, backgrounds by Derick Jones, colors by Fred Stresing, and editing by Josh Frankel.
