A Look Into the New Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning Teaser Trailer
Paramount Pictures released a new teaser trailer for Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning during the Super Bowl LIX broadcast on February 9.
The trailer gave fans a glimpse of what to except from the final installment of the beloved action franchise. Throughout the video, lead actor Tom Cruise performs one of his signature daredevil-like stunts. the most intense moment shows Cruise as Ethan Hunt clinging to the wing of a yellow stunt plane, hanging on for dear life, as he says, “One last time”.
Director Christopher McQuarrie claims that some of the stunts will “melt your brain.”
“There would be a day in Africa any day in Africa where Tom [Cruise] would go out and do something that topped anything he had ever done before,” McQuarrie continued.
Adding to the excitement, Cruise shared behind-the-scenes footage of himself performing the death-defying scene. He claimed that he passed out multiple times while filming the stunt.

McQuarrie also claims that after watching a short screening, fans are in for a very thrilling experience.
“I was suffocating throughout the entire sequence. I almost had a heart attack and I thought ‘I guess we’re doing something right’,” McQuarrie concluded.
Fans have already taken to social media to share their reactions to the trailer, with one commenting “screaming, crying, and throwing up after the new Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning teaser. Movies have never been so back!!!”
While another fan commented “I almost just cried” after watching the trailer and “Will be seeing opening night.”
Prior to the trailer’s reveal, Cruise kicked off Super Bowl LIX by narrating the game’s opening, by narrating the game’s opening, reflecting on the rivalry between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles while also making subtle nods to his beloved film franchise.
“The mission is clear, win here and be remembered forever,” Cruise narrated.
