The Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG Awards) held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday night prompted several film and television cast reunions.

Here is a list of some of Sunday’s heartwarming and humorous reunions:

New Girl

Zooey Deschanel and Max Greenfield, or as some know them, Jess and Schmidt from their series New Girl, reunited to present the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

Recalling their time together, Greenfield notes, “We wrapped ‘New Girl’ eight years ago, and so the last time we saw each other must have been eight years ago.”

Then, the duo poke fun at former costar Lamorne Morris, as Deschanel asks, “Oh! Remember Lamorne? Have you talked to or seen Lamorne?”

“It’s been challenging, since, well, you know, the Emmy,” he responds, alluding to Morris’ first Emmy win for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthropology Series or Movie for his role in Fargo.

She comments, “Oh, I thought you were going to say Men’s Fitness,” in regards to Morris’ drastic body transformation for his role.

“Oh, that too, but so happy for Lamorne, for the fitness and for the Emmy,” Greenfield smilingly adds

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Jason Segel recreates his famous towel scene from Forgetting Sarah Marshall with host Kristen Bell. While shaking his hips, he opens a towel wrapped around his waist and tells Bell, “I got a surprise for you!”

Bell replies, “It doesn’t really have the same effect with a towel over your pants.”

Segal hilariously responds, “Don’t be a pervert.”

The Good Place

Before introducing the next set of presenters to come on stage, Bell begins talking about this year’s nominees when her former The Good Place costar Ted Danson interrupts her to express, “During the clip packet, your name is William, right?” pointing to another other former costar, William Jackson Harper, “William said that you told him that he was your favorite costar.”

Harper responds, “Look man, I’m just telling him what you told me in Paris,” referring to his and Bell’s trip to Paris on the television series.

“Paris? Oh c’mon, that was our city! Did he kiss you? Did you kiss her?” Danson pleads

Bell assures, “This is not a challenge,” as the iconic Challengers score starts to play in the background. The actors reply in unison, “Yes, it is,” before leaning into a kiss like they do in the film.

The X Files

The X Files’ David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reunited to present the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. Duchovny asks Anderson, “Now that we’ve had some time to think about what makes good drama, what do you think makes good drama?”

She replies, “Well there’s really only one thing. It’s a special thing. Can’t buy it, can’t fake it.”

Duchovny agrees, “It’s important. It’s… timing?” while Anderson utters, “Chemistry?”

Anderson mocks, “We still got it. Hilarious! We did so good – we did that so well.”

It was both nostalgic and refreshing to see some of our favorite casts back together again, outside of the studio.
