Selena Gomez Revealed in New Stream She May Release ‘Stained’
The Official Selena Gomez Fan Club held a Stationhead stream with none other than Selena Gomez herself and her fiancé Benny Blanco to answer questions regarding their upcoming album I Said I Love You First.
Gomez revealed highly anticipated news that she may release a fan-favorite unreleased track titled “Stained.”
To celebrate the release of her most recent single “Call Me When You Break Up (with Gracie Abrams)” and to preface the release of her upcoming album I Said I Love You First, the singer joined the Selenators for 15 minutes to answer questions on Stationhead. When asked by fans, “Is ‘Stained’ on the album,” she replied, “No, but I do think I’m going to release that for y’all because you love that one and it makes me so happy just like you guys make me happy.”

The American singer-songwriter first previewed the song in 2016 on Snapchat, intending for the song to debut on her third studio album Rare. While the song was not included in the album, it was leaked on July 13, 2017, the release day of her second single “Fetish.”
Ever since then, Selenators have been obsessed with the song, dying to get their hands on a real, published version. Eight years later, while they do not have a definite release date, they finally got the announcement they have been waiting for.
In addition to this news, she shared that the album will include a Spanish-language track as well as a song called “Cowboy,” similar to her previous song “Fetish.”
Benny Blanco hinted that there will be more surprise collaborations on the album as well.
On the Radiohead stream, she mentioned how she played some of the songs for her friends, including her iconic best friend Taylor Swift. Gomez revealed, “For Taylor, I played a few and she loved it, so that’s a win because she’s always honest.”
