Oscars 2025: See the Full List of Winners
The Oscars have concluded, bringing an end to this season of television and film awards.
The 97th Annual Academy Awards have officially come to a close. The Oscars were a night full of exciting celebrations and show-stopping performances.
Anora Wins Big
Anora won the event’s biggest honor, Best Picture, along with four additional awards. The film also collected Best Director, Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Film Editing, and Best Original Screenplay.
Best Actors and Actresses
The arguably biggest surprise of the night came when Mikey Madison beat Demi Moore for Best Actress. The award is Madison’s first Oscar. Adrien Brody won Best Actor for his performance in The Brutalist.
Zoe Saldaña also received her first Oscar, winning Best Supporting Actress for her role in Emilia Pérez. She followed her win with a powerful, heartfelt speech, thanking everyone who contributed to her journey and uplifted her.
“Thank you to the Academy for recognizing the quiet heroism and the power of a woman like Rita,” Saldaña stated. “And talking about powerful women, my fellow nominees, the love and community that you have offered me is a true gift, and I will pay it forward.”
Kieran Culkin won Best Supporting Actor for his performance in A Real Pain, and followed his win with a comedic speech.
Show-Stopping Performances
Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo teamed up to deliver a jaw-dropping performance that celebrated the magical land of Oz. Their performance featured a medley of songs from The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, and Wicked.
