Selma Blair’s Service Steals the Spotlight at Oscars Party

Selma Blair dazzled at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, but it was her service dog, Scout, who stole the show.

Scout, a Labrador, accompanied the Legally Blonde actress to the Oscars. While Blair stunned in a strapless, Monique Lhuillier gown, all eyes were on Scout, who sported a dapper black bow and worked the red carpet like a pro.

Scout became the ultimate celebrity magnet, cozying up to Hollywood A-listers. Blair shared adorable snaps on Instagram, capturing Scout winning over Chrissy Teigen, Michael Keaton, Laverne Cox, Justin Theroux, and Patricia Clarkson. One photo showed Teigen completely charmed by Scout, while Keaton received an enthusiastic slobbery kiss. Theroux gave Scout a playful pet, and Clarkson embraced him on the floor. Another shot showed Scout gazing up at Cox as if they were sharing a secret.

Blair posted their unforgettable night in a heartwarming Instagram reel set to Depeche Mode’s But Not Tonight,” captioning, “Over 25 years of celebrating the Oscars at Vanity Fair. I loved tonight, especially. Scout is a solid date.”

Scout isn’t just a red-carpet sensation, but he’s also Blair’s lifeline. Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018, she opened up in 2022 about how Scout has transformed her life. Recommended by her neurologist for both physical and emotional support, Scout helps her with balance, mobility, and confidence.

“He’s with me all the time,” The Cruel Intentions actress shared. “If I fall into a spasm or need help moving, he gets between my legs, helps me up, and balances me. He’s given me so much independence.” Scout even has the approval of Blair’s 13-year-old son, Arthur.

From Hollywood parties to everyday life, Scout isn’t just a service dog but a companion and the biggest star.
