Travis Kelce Finds New Inspiration With Taylor Swift’s Music
The Kansas City Chiefs were knocked out by the Philadelphia Eagles at this year’s Super Bowl, however, Travis Kelce’s support system, Taylor Swift, infused a sense of closure.
Travis Kelce returned to his brother, former NFL player Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast on February 25, where he shared how Swift’s songs uplift his mood.
Jason, 37, asked his younger brother if he listens to “sad music” when he’s feeling down. Travis, 35, responded, “Jason, the only way you can find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first. Right. I listen to music that really reflects my mood.”
While Jason admitted he listens to “sad country songs,” Travis had a different approach.
“I just listen to Taylor’s music,” Travis stated, referring to the 35-year-old “Eras Tour” performer. “She has something for everything.”
Jason agreed with his brother’s perspective, adding, “That’s fair. That’s a good point. No matter what mood, you can find some Taylor music.”
Travis then mentioned, “And how the Eagles broke my heart,” referring to the Philadelphia Eagles defeating the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.
The couple, who made their relationship public in October 2023, have consistently supported each other. Kelce attended several stops on the record-breaking “Eras Tour,” even joining the pop star on stage in London in June. Meanwhile, the pop star has been a regular at Chiefs games, showing her support for the NFL star during his last two seasons.

A source told PEOPLE that the high-profile couple plans to “take a break together” after the Kansas City Chiefs’ 40-22 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9 in New Orleans, a game that “was upsetting for everyone.”
“Their lives have been chaotic since they began dating,” the insider shares. “But things are going well between them, and they’re very happy together.”
