Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead Official Track List is Here
Eternal Sunshine: Brighter Days Ahead is the deluxe edition of Ariana Grande’s 2024 album Eternal Sunshine. Grande revealed the official track list for Brighter Days Ahead, dropping on March 28.
The album features six additional tracks. They bring the album’s total track count to 22 including the three remixes that were previously dropped.
One track, entitled “hampstead,” is named after the city she lived in while filming Wicked. The rest of the tracks include “intro (end of the world) extended,” “twilight zone,” “warm,” “dandelion,” and “past life.”
She is also releasing a short film to accompany the album’s release, aptly titled Brighter Days Ahead. The title of the film, as well as the inspiration for her original album, comes from the 2004 film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, starring Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey.
In January, the “No Tears Left to Cry” singer teased a deluxe edition of her album to Variety.
“It’s a very special project,” she stated. “I’m out there so much right now. I want to let my children miss me for two seconds. I’m excited to surprise them with it at some point, but I’m still mulling over the timing in my head.”
She further stated that she wanted to ensure the songs she added made sense with the album.
“The album is so concise, and I didn’t want to add songs just for the sake of it,” Grande stated. “The new tracks are short, but they really count.”
After Eternal Sunshine dropped in March 2024, it reached number 1 on the Billboard 200. Two tracks from the album, “yes, and?” and “we can’t be friends (wait for your love)” earned number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
