While fans wait for season 2, the actress teases an even darker, more cinematic experience. She draws her inspiration from horror classics like Beetlejuice, Carrie, and Prom Night. The upcoming episodes are to be thrilling visuals with bold storytelling. “Visually, I can say we have some of the most fun we’ve ever had,” the actress stated. One particular shot features Pugsley Addams with a disturbing contraption around his head which was compared to an image from Full Metal Jacket.
Lovers of Wednesday will be thrilled to hear that an entire episode in season 2 will be dedicated to classic slasher films. “I feel like we kind of had a little bit more trust, and therefore, we felt like we could do bigger, more elaborate sequences, which is nice,” she stated, suggesting an even more ambitious approach to the storytelling.
