Demi Lovato showed off her Disney dance moves on March 18 when she posted a new TikTok video of herself recreating her iconic Disney knees meme from Camp Rock while at Disneyland in Anaheim.

In the clip, which is played alongside the singer’s Camp Rock single “This Is Me,” the actress pretended to hold a microphone as she bent her head down, stuck her other hand in the air, and shook her inverted knees to the track’s beat. She then performed the move at four different locations across the theme park, including in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle and a Star Wars attraction.

“Couldn’t go to Disney without doing the Disney knees,” the 32-year-old wrote in the post’s caption. “For real,” fellow former Disney actress Olivia Rodrigo wrote in the comment section, while one fan called it “The most iconic thing ever.”

Disney knees have been a popular trend on TikTock, where many fans highlighted how their favorite Disney actress adopted the move. In 2022, content creator Findlay McConnell performed the move on the app and wrote over the video, “Pov Demi Lovato was your camp counselor,” as he lip-synced the previously mentioned “This Is Me.”

“Get those Disney knees moving,” he captioned the humorous clip. Lovato also discussed the move in an interview with Teen Vogue last year. “I bust out into these, like these knees,” she explained as she spoke about her “This Is Me” performance from the 2008 film. “That’s the only way I can describe it. I love that people remember it.”

The “Sorry Not Sorry” artist’s latest clip comes days after she shared a TikTok video of herself asking an AI chatbot to roast her. Her fiancé, Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, was then present to read the harsh comments.  “Okay, so I asked ChatGPT to roast me, and Jordan’s gonna read it,” she added. Her lover then read, “Roast Demi Lovato? Oh, you mean the artist formerly known as ‘Confident’ but more like confused?” in reference to the artist’s 2015 hit single “Confident.”

“Demi Lovato has more rebounds than a failing fast food chain,” the roast continued. “One minute they’re punk rock, the next they’re singing pop ballads, and somewhere in between they’re beefing with a frozen yogurt shop.”

Lovato and Jutes decided to publicly announce their relationship in August 2022, before Jutes got on one knee in December 2023.
