Miley Cyrus Announces New Album Something Beautiful
Grammy Award-winner Miley Cyrus recently announced her new album, Something Beautiful, slated for release on May 30, alongside the album’s cover art.
Cyrus posted to social media that her new era would officially begin. This will be her first album since Endless Summer Vacation, released in 2023, which earned her a Grammy during last year’s award cycle.
Since the release of Endless Summer Vacation, Cyrus won three Grammy Awards in the categories of Best Country Duo/Group Performance for her collaborative song “II MOST WANTED” with Beyoncé, and in Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year for her explosive hit single “Flowers.” She has also been named a Disney Legend at D23, the youngest person to earn the title at only 31 years old.
Of the album cover, the “Flowers” singer wrote, “Captured by renowned fashion photographer Glen Luchford, the album artwork features Miley Cyrus draped in archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, a striking nod to the album’s bold aesthetic and visual storytelling.”
The artist has teased the new album before through posters, social media, and her website. Her ninth studio album is also stated to consist of thirteen songs.
Fans cannot wait for the new era to arrive, with one fan posting, “goodnight fellow smilers, what a day it’s been. new album announcement with release date, stunning album cover, signed vinyls/cds. tomorrow we get blessed with the first album TRAILER. this is just the beginning.”
The former Disney Channel star is well-known for her different eras, with this one proclaimed her most experimental.

Something Beautiful is stated to take inspiration from Pink Floyd’s iconic visual album The Wall and the 2018 horror film Mandy, of which the director, Panos Cosmatos, is also involved in the creation of the new album.
“It’s a concept album that’s an attempt to medicate somewhat of a sick culture through music,” she shared in an interview with Harper’s BAZAAR.
