Niall Horan Celebrates 5 Years of ‘Heartbreak Weather’ With New Music
Niall Horan commemorated five years of Heartbreak Weather on March 13.
Five years after the release of Heartbreak Weather, Niall Horan is dropping new music and merchandise to celebrate the album.
Horan is releasing a special edition of Heartbreak Weather with two new tracks: “Dress” and “Nothing,” plus live versions of various songs off the album. Live versions include “Small Talk” and “Dear Patience” from the livestream at Royal Albert Hall in 2020, “Put a Little Love on Me” from Vevo Studios, “No Judgement” recorded live in the studio, and “Nice to Meet Ya” and “Black and White” stripped-down.
In addition to a CD and special vinyls, another limited edition vinyl will be sold on his website featuring a bonus song: “Everywhere – Live on Tour.” Merchandise is available for pre-order, and will ship on August 15. The digital version of Horan’s new release will be available Friday, March 28.
Heartbreak Weather is Horan’s second solo album. It was released March 13, 2020. The “Slow Hands” singer shared a series of pictures and videos on social media to honor the anniversary of the album’s release.
“The release date, which had been planned for months and months in advance, ended up being right as the pandemic started,” Horan stated on Instagram. “With all of that happening and in turn the tour being cancelled, it wasn’t until last year that I finally got to see you all sing these songs back to me. The way it’s become a fan favorite over these past few years has truly made me so happy.”
Horan was set to go on tour shortly after the album’s release, but the tour had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It wasn’t until 2023 that he was able to go on tour, which was for his third album, The Show.
In November 2020, he performed a concert without an audience in London at Royal Albert Hall, which was live-streamed for the world to watch. All of the profits went toward Horan’s touring crew, as well as the #WeNeedCrew relief fund.
The CD and vinyl on Horan’s website can be pre-ordered here.
