Bachelor Grant Ellis revealed his plans to take his time before getting married.

Grant Ellis got engaged to Juliana Pasquarosa during The Bachelor finale on March 24. Although the couple is happy, they plan to take their time before getting married. “I think that we are taking it one day at a time,” Ellis revealed.

Although Ellis fell in love with runner-up Litia Garr, he ultimately decided his connection with Pasquarosa was stronger. He shared, “Right now, we are learning each other and we’re falling more in love with each other every day.”

The former bachelor shared gushing words for Pasquarosa when proposing to her. He shared, “I truly believe that you’re somebody who is my best friend, and I’m so grateful for our journey, and when you’re going through the toughest times in your life, I want you to know that you don’t have to go through it alone, that I’ll be there for you, as your man, as your friend, as your partner,” he told her before popping the question, “Will you marry me?”

Although marriage is the end goal, Pasquarosa confirmed that there is “no rush.”

Additionally, The Bachelor winner stated, “I just feel like we want to live life together for a minute,” she continued, “A wedding is a big thing, and there’s so many people we have to meet. I want them all to have an opportunity to see [Grant], see us, and just have it make sense to everybody.”

Ellis reflected on his wedding plans, confirming that Pasquarosa wants to elope in Italy. Additionally, the former basketball player revealed his future plans with his fiancée regarding their living situation.

“I love the dynamic that her town has and that her family has, and I want to be close to that,” he shared about his East Coast return. “I’m going to have my house in Houston, but I’m also going to come over there and we’re going to make it work.”

We wish the happy couple nothing but happiness on their engagement journey.
