The brother-sister duo left their managers of a decade, Danny Rukasin and Brandon Goodman’s Best Friends Music Management. The pair joined Jason Owen’s Sandbox Entertainment, who represents stars like Kacey Musgraves and Kelsea Ballerini.

Although the pair has risen to success with Best Friends Music Management, rumors were circulating regarding the musicians leaving.

The “Bad Guy” singer has amassed 42 platinum and gold albums, singles and EPs in the U.S. since her first popular album, 2019’s When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? Eilish and her brother, Finneas, first gained attention when he uploaded their song “Ocean Eyes” to SoundCloud in November 2015. The pop star released her debut EP, “Don’t Smile at Me,” in 2017, followed by When We All Fall Asleep. This led to a win of the four main Grammy categories the following year: album, song and record of the year and best new artist.

Since then, the pair has been successful with their two albums, 2021’s Happier Than Ever and last year’s Hit Me Hard and Soft. In addition, they have also won two Academy Awards for Best Original Song: one for the James Bond theme “No Time to Die” and another for “What Was I Made For?”

Meanwhile, Owen is recognized as a top country manager, representing artists such as Musgraves, Ballerini, Faith Hill, Little Big Town, Kate Hudson and others. He began his career at New Line Cinema, Fine Line and Spelling Entertainment before he took over the publicity department of Universal Music’s Mercury Nashville label.

Owen stated, “I used to sit in that chair at Universal and would have to deal with the worst managers,” he continued “And I was, like, ‘I can do better than that with my eyes closed.’ And that’s what started me thinking [about management].”

We wish the musicians the best of luck in their new management.
