Spotted in the West Village: Kelly Rutherford exuded elegance as she made her way into the quaint but beautiful PDPAOLA storefront Friday morning. The actress inspired the jewelry brand’s new spring collection, and we were there to capture it all.

The capsule collection showcases a blend of 18K white and yellow gold, adorned with lab-grown diamonds. Signature pieces such as the Mini Venus Hoops, Dafne Ring, and Venus Choker necklace standout with their asymmetrical silhouettes. 

Co-founder and creative director Paola Sasplugas tells us the fluid shaping draws inspiration from the elegance of a swan, a nod to muse Rutherford’s timeless grace.

“She is a swan,” Sasplugas shares. “A swan embodies elegance and fluidity, but it’s also incredibly strong. I see those same qualities in her—and in the jewelry. These are modern contradictions that redefine what elegance means today.”

Gushing over princess-like qualities, Sasplugas stopped in her tracks and urged, “Let’s accept our femininity… Why can’t we bring that back? Let’s bring the princess-feel back,” — we couldn’t agree more.
