Sabrina Carpenter Joins Fortnite in New Event
Sabrina Carpenter is set to join the gaming world with her latest feature in Fortnite.
Epic Games posted a teaser on social media about something new coming to the game on April 8, and it was very Carpenter-coded. The company further revealed in a blog post on the game’s official website that the pop star is headlining Fortnite Festival Season 8, which is a game mode that allows up to four players perform as a group. “Juno” and “Nonsense” will be available as Jam Tracks in the game.

With this also comes the Season 8 Music Pass, which gives players the opportunity to collect Carpenter-inspired content. The biggest addition to the game, however, is the chance to play as Carpenter herself.
The game will feature two skins with two color variations each, which are based on the “Please Please Please” singer’s outfits from her “Short n’ Sweet Tour.” Purchasing the Music Pass gets players immediate access to the first skin, which displays Carpenter in a soft yellow corset bodysuit and babydoll from Act I of her tour. The custom outfit was created for Carpenter by Victoria Secret.
The second skin, titled “Tour Ready,” will be available in the game’s shop for purchase. It’s based on the two-piece set that the “Espresso” artist wears during Act III of her tour. The two color variations available in the game are pastel pink and baby blue. The outfit that inspired the skin was created for Carpenter by Ludovic de Saint Sernin. In addition to the skin, players can also purchase new dance emotes, back bling, and microphones.
“I’ve always found it exciting for fans to be able to interact and engage with music through different art forms and to interact in a way that’s genuinely fun,” Carpenter stated to Rolling Stone. “So, for the fans that haven’t been able to come to the tour, or to any new fans, this is such a special way to still be a part of the Short n’ Sweet world.”
Fortnite Festival first launched in 2023 and acts as a music-based mode within the game. It has featured several stars as headliners for their seasonal events, including Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, and others.
Fortnite is a free-to-play game that released in 2017. It’s available to download on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, macOS, and Windows.
