A Playful Take on Adulthood
On March 27, TWS released the official trailer, giving a glimpse into the mini-album’s silly and heartfelt theme: “Try adulting with us.”
The trailer contrasts cinematic expectations of adulthood with hilarious, all-too-relatable realities—like using an expensive camera to capture high-quality photos versus snapping blurry shots on an iPhone, or cooking an Instagram-worthy meal versus simply microwaving ramen.
Through these vignettes of exaggerated versus real-life “grown-up” scenarios, the group leans into the humor and chaos of coming of age.
Building on Previous Successes
TRY WITH US follows the growing momentum of TWS’s earlier releases, which have steadily built their reputation as one of K-pop’s most promising new groups.
Their debut mini-album, Sparkling Blue, introduced their bright, youthful charm and quickly captured attention with its refreshing sound and polished performances.
They continued to impress with SUMMER BEAT!, further showcasing their knack for catchy melodies and vibrant storytelling.
Their upcoming EP “aims to explore new territory that the group hasn’t attempted before,” cataloging first-time experiences as the members enter their twenties.
Two Visual Worlds, Two Concept Films
Conceptually, TRY WITH US is divided into two distinct visual themes.
The “Try” version, released on March 31, captures the group in playful, introspective moments.
From hanging out with friends to enjoying time alone and pursuing passions, it presents an authentic snapshot of youth and the delicate balance between self-discovery and growing pains.
In contrast, the “boY” version, released on April 7, is filmed entirely in black and white and leans into a cinematic, mature aesthetic.
The members are sharply dressed, with each shot focusing on their individual images, suggesting a polished, refined side of TWS.
Looking Ahead to April 21
Through polished visuals, playful storytelling, and honest reflections, TRY WITH US is signaling a new era for TWS—one that embraces growth and authenticity.
Pre-save and listen to TWS’s third EP, TRY WITH US, on April 21.
