Blink-182 Announces New ‘Missionary Impossible’ Tour
The iconic Blink-182 announced they will go on their “Missionary Impossible” tour, kicking off in Hollywood, Florida.
Blink-182 will be rocking across the country from Hollywood, Florida’s Hard Rock Live to Sacramento, California’s Discovery Park, starting this August.
The band captioned their announcement on Instagram, “This message will self-destruct…in your pants. The Missionary Impossible tour is coming for you.”
This tour will be supported by the punk band Alkaline Trio and mark Blink-182’s second consecutive year of touring. The pop-punk band will even stop at festivals such as Four Chord Music Festival, Sea Hear Now, Shaky Knees, and Aftershock Festival.
Blink-182’s latest tour last year was for their most recent album, One More Time…
This year, their new “Missionary Impossible” tour is stated to “lean into blink-182’s punk roots, with a setlist packed with classics spanning their entire catalog.”
In an interview with Good Morning America about his new memoir, co-written with Dan Ozzi, Fahrenheit-182, co-founder of the band, Mark Hoppus stated, “We’re talking about recording our next album. Things are great right now. We want to keep doing what we’ve always done: write new music and tour.”
The band behind the classic “All the Small Things” will have tour tickets for general sale this Friday, April 11, at 10 a.m. local time.
