Le Sserafim and JADE Release New English Version of ‘HOT’

The K-pop group Le Sserafim released their “HOT (English Version)” collaboration with JADE.

This Sunday, one of the fastest-growing K-pop bands, Le Sserafim, released the new remix of their song “HOT” with former Little Mix member JADE.

Le Sserafim and JADE have started this year strong, with Le Sserafim releasing their fifth EP, HOT, and a 60s-inspired music video for their song “Come Over” with members J Lloyd and Lydia Kitto of the British band Jungle.

JADE won Best Pop Act at the BRIT Awards with her song “Angel of My Dreams.” The English singer has also since released her newest songs, “IT girl” and “FUFN (F**k You For Now), the latter released just last month on the same day as the HOT EP.

This remix is her first feature with a K-pop group and the first feature of her solo career. However, the “Angel of My Dreams” singer has written songs with K-pop artists in the past, including Twice’s “First Time” and Twice member Nayeon’s “Candyfloss.”

She stated on her Instagram Story, “I’m a big fan of particularly a lot of the [K-pop] girl groups. I’ve really been loving Le Sserafim’s music, so when they asked me to jump on their track for ‘HOT,’ I was like, ‘Yes, yes, yes….’ It’s all feel-good vibes [and] it’s perfect for this weather.”

Fans suspected a collaboration could be in the works when Le Sserafim’s Yunjn recommended listening to JADE’s single “IT girl” earlier this year. After hearing Le Sserafim and JADE’s voices work beautifully together on the new remix, fans are excited that their suspicions were correct.

One fan posted, “The transition from Sakura’s and kazuha’s vocals to Jade’s vocals ooooffff— this is the collab of the century.”

JADE adds her new verse to the remix, singing, “Now I’m strong, you did mе wrong, kept stringing me along / I should’ve seen the signs, wasted all my time, yeah (Yeah) / Now I’m on top, and you’re not, baby, that’s your loss (Loss) / Don’t love me for somebody I’m not.”
