Kylie Jenner’s Powerful Words in Honor of Late Hairstylist
Kylie Jenner is grieving the loss of her friend and hairstylist Jesus Guerrero.
Jenner shared a tribute to her late friend on Instagram two months ago. She wrote, “Jesus was more than my friend — he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love and unwavering support. I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter.”
Furthermore, the mother of two continued her gratitude for her late friend: “Thank you, Jesus, for always being there for me, for lifting me up, for being my friend. The pain of losing you is just unbearable and I don’t know how to move forward without you, but I know great grief is born only of great love. I loved you so much. You were the best person, with a talent that was unmatched, a true artist. You inspired so many and you always will.”
Meanwhile, on April 26, the Kylie Cosmetics founder took to her Instagram story to reflect on her memories with Guerrero. “Found this video from [October 2024]. I thought I could get through today without crying, but the ache of missing you hit all over again,” she captioned the story, “Grief isn’t getting easier.”
In February, Guerrero’s sister Gris Guerrero revealed his death on a GoFundMe page. A cause of death has not been revealed. Along with Jenner, his additional clients included Katy Perry, Dua Lipa, Jessica Alba, Demi Moore, and Jennifer Lopez.
Guerrero was laid to rest in March. Meanwhile, outside sources stated that the artist was dealing with an illness. The influencer’s sister shared “Everyone on his team did everything they could to get him to the doctors because he was not well,” she added “we are looking into his health more with what happened.”
Jenner offered to pay for Guerrero’s funeral. She used the GoFundMe for “costs associated with securing his belongings at home” and “unexpected expenses to settle his assets.”
