Eric Church Announces New Tour for Upcoming Album
Eric Church revealed that he will take his upcoming album, Evangeline vs. The Machine, on tour starting this year.
The “Free the Machine Tour” is set to kick off on September 12 with a performance in Pittsburgh at PPG Paints Arena. The tour features 22 shows and will end in Inglewood, California, at the Intuit Dome. Elle King, Marcus King Band, and Charles Wesley Godwin will perform as opening acts throughout the tour.
Church first revealed the news in a video message to his fan club, the Church Choir.
“From front to back, these shows will be different than anything you’ve ever seen or heard from us before,” he stated. “I cannot wait to see you on the road for this tour.”
Before the tour begins, the “Springsteen” singer will host two performances at the Royal Albert Hall in London on May 16 and 17. He will also perform two shows at The Pinnacle in Nashville on May 23 and 24. His last set of shows before the tour includes three performances at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado: “Eric Church vs. The Machine,” “Eric Church vs. The ECB,” and “Eric Church vs. The Guitar.”
Tickets go on general sale on May 9 at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets for the show in Philadelphia will go on general sale on May 16 at 10 a.m. local time.
