Grammy award-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion broke strict Met Gala rules to take her fans inside the exclusive event. In a rare glimpse inside the event since the no phone policy has been in effect, the artist gave a quick review of the food.

While dressed in custom Michael Kors and with rapper Doechii and basketball star Angel Reese in tow, the star posted a video to her Instagram captioned, “Hottie cam in Thee Met Gala.”

The trio reviewed the menu, which included caviar, cornbread, lobster tails, vegan lox, and more.

Doechii commented, “I like it!” while Reese wasn’t a fan of the caviar and cornbread. The rapper didn’t like the vegan lox, but Reese enjoyed it.

The “Miami Blue” rapper hilariously commented, “We’re not supposed to have our phones. I snuck the phone inside.”

Fans were delighted with the exclusive footage, with one commenting under the video, “Here before Anna makes you delete this.” Another wrote, “Thank you for this forbidden footage, sis.”

Other celebrities appearing in the “Body” singer’s footage were Cynthia Erivo, Ciara, designer Michael Kors, and Tracee Ellis-Ross, who jokingly scolded, “Put the phone away!”

Vogue‘s Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour instilled a strict no-phone policy to boost the event’s exclusivity and prevent potential leaks on the year’s theme, design, and seating arrangements.

The no-phone policy also requires guests to refrain from posting on social media. However, Megan Thee Stallion is not the only celebrity who broke the rules at this Met Gala or at galas in the past.

Actresses Angela Bassett and Yara Shahidi were photographed alongside Jaden Smith and singer Jon Baptiste scrolling on their devices.

Halle Bailey snapped a selfie with Euphoria’s Sydney Sweeney and Lisa at the event.

While some consequences of breaking the rules can range from being banned from the event to being blacklisted from all future events, so far only a handful of celebrities have been denied from attendance, mostly for comments made prior or after the event. For now, though, we’ll take the blessed footage as it comes.
