The well-known Hulu series, co-created by John Hoffman, continues to follow the fun, quirky trio- Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez- as they cleverly investigate murders within their iconic New York City apartment building, the Arconia.
The drama’s fourth season was met with critical acclaim in September 2024. The official series Instagram account has recently confirmed that filming has begun. Day one of set photos featured Steve Martin and Martin Short alongside showrunner John Hoffman and the crew. Though Selena Gomez was absent, she is expected to rejoin the production soon.
What to Expect from Season 5
While the new images don’t reveal much about the upcoming plot, fans already know the next murder mystery centers on the Arconia’s beloved doorman, Lester. His body was discovered in the season 4 finale. The trio also met a new character, Sofia Caccimelio, who is played by Téa Leoni. She offers the trio her unexpected help in finding her missing husband, whose case is likely tied to Lester’s suspicious death.
In previous years, the series aimed for a summer premiere, and with the production schedule, season 5 is likely to debut in late August of this year.
