Natalia Bryant Honors Late Father at College Graduation in New Photos
Natalia Bryant honored her late father, Kobe Bryant, at her college graduation on May 16.
The eldest of the basketball players’ four children included his trademark “Sheath” logo on her cardinal red and gold stole in honor of receiving her diploma from the University of Southern California (USC). The symbol, made up of three sets of mirrored trapezoids, was placed on the left side of the cloth above the words, “School of Cinematic Arts,” “USC,” and the school’s rally cry, “Fight On.”
The 22-year-old’s stole also included her sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma’s letters and “Class of 2025” and “Cum Laude” on the right side of the photos her mother posted.
“4 ever,” Vanessa Bryant wrote in her Instagram post’s caption alongside a heart hand, red heart, and snake. The now college graduate received numerous congratulatory messages from family friends such as Michael B. Jordan, Jennifer Garner, and Ciara.
“Goo Nani Boo,” the singer wrote in the comment section of her post. “So incredibly proud of you.” She also received praise from Jessica Alba and Tina Knowles. “I am beyond proud of you, beautiful,” Beyoncé’s mother wrote in the comments of Bryant’s mother’s post. “Vanessa, I saw the love that you poured into your daughter. You did a great job.”

In an interview with Towns and Country published in January 2024, Bryant stated her main goal is to be the best version of herself that she can be. She explained that this means “understanding that there’s no expectation that I should have for each stage of life.”
“I just need to know that I have to keep learning because there’s no finish line,” she added. “You just have to keep pushing, being the best person you can be, and soaking everything up like a sponge.”
Bryant admitted that taking risks has always been intimidating for her, but she’s learned to push herself beyond her comfort zone. She emphasized the importance of summoning inner confidence to take those leaps and highlighted the value of having a strong support system and team to lean on when needed.
We wish Bryant the best as she moves on to the next stage of her young life.
