Bath & Body Works Halloween Collection Captures New Spooky Season
With spooky season among us, it’s time to get into the spirit with Bath & Body Works‘ yearly Halloween collection. This time around, the retailer brought three fan favorite mists and a new one:
Vampire Blood: Haunting and mysterious, red berries, night-blooming jasmine, and petrifying plum in a ruby red bottle stir feelings of an alluring, supernatural aroma.
Ghoul Friend: Inspired by the cloudy night skies, these scents are dark strawberries, ghostly peony, and spine-chilling citrus.
I Scream Float (new): A play on the ice cream float, it features sweet notes of fizzing cola, frightful vanilla float, and spooky sugars in a purple bottle.
The Smell Test
Wicked Vanilla Woods took me on a sensory journey through the forest since the glowing amberwood was the most prominent scent. The pink pepper gave it a slight zesty aroma. Combined with the vanilla, it produced a blueberry smell that didn’t feel like it matched its name.
Vampire Blood was my favorite. A mix of red berries and petrifying plum creates a sweet, candied smell, as if melting a red Jolly Rancher into a bottle. Not only that but the undertone has a regal, floral scent.
Would I Buy These Again?
Absolutely. Vampire Blood would be a fragrance I would add to my shelf because it appeals to me. All of the mists captured the essence of Halloween, blending both sweet and spooky, though I would not purchase the other three again. If you enjoy candied fragrances, these would be the mists for you. Shop the Halloween Collection at Bath & Body Works.
